The Anti-Ragging Cell of The Kavery Physiotherapy College, Mecheri, is committed to ensuring a safe, secure, and friendly environment for all students. Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited both within and outside the campus. The institution follows the guidelines of the University Grants Commission (UGC) to prevent ragging and promote a culture of mutual respect and dignity among students.
Ragging of juniors is strictly prohibited and is against the tradition of the Institute. Any student found indulging in ragging junior or fellow students whether inside the institute or hostel premises or outside the premises will be liable to be RUSTICATED from the college, besides being handed over to the appropriate civil authority for action in accordance with law. Be it known that ragging is as much a nuisance as much a worst form of humiliation to any student in any institute. It has its worst effect and at times has led to serious prob.
The Internal Compliance Committee (ICC) is established to promote a safe, respectful, ethical, and compliant environment within the institution. The committee ensures that institutional policies, applicable regulations, and professional standards are followed by all students and faculties.
The committee is responsible for monitoring compliance, creating awareness of institutional policies, addressing concerns and grievances appropriately, and recommending corrective measures whenever necessary. It also supports transparency, accountability, confidentiality, and fairness in institutional practices.
Through regular monitoring, awareness programmes, policy implementation, and periodic reviews, the Internal Compliance Committee contributes to maintaining high standards of professional conduct, institutional integrity, discipline, and good governance.
Anti-drug club for students are essential initiatives designed to educate young people about the dangers, creating awareness, preventing drug abuse, and promoting a healthy, drug-free lifestyle among our students. And foster a healthy, productive environment. Aim to empower students to make informed decisions and act as ambassadors of change.
The club also associates with the counselling cell, discipline committee and other units of the college to provide counselling support moral guidelines etc., to needy students.
The activities of the club include boundless programmes through awareness lectures, public rallies, competitions, poster exhibitions, organizing campaigns etc.
